Sofia Momberger is a Houston-based, classically trained painter and mixed media artist who took her brush skills and taught herself to translate her work to larger medium. Her work is known for its highly detailed technique and realism and her murals can be seen throughout Houston, including several elementary schools and public locations.

Her fine arts medium is primarily mixed media, where she explores issues relating to her heritage (her father is Papua New Guinean and her mother is American) and creating art that explores her love of color theory and architecture.

Sofia currently lives and works in Houston & is looking to continue painting walls & canvases in every city she visits. She hopes to connect communities through art.
